I have heard about this place from my friends and even saw some photos of it posted on facebook from my facebook friends. So last summer me and my wife, together with our little daughter and helper went there. It is a long ride going to the place, we used the Damosa route going to crossing buhangin from there it is about 6.2 kilometers before you reach D'Leonor Hotel Inland Resort.

Here's a little information about the place, it is a 26 hectare inland resort and adventure park located in the mountainous terrain in Cabantian Davao City (Communal, Purok 5 to be exact). The place is owned by Leonor Lim who also owns RDL, Emar's Wavepool, Japanese Tunnel and D'Leonor Hotel in Bajada.

When we arrive at the place, I had to say it was nice, there was a huge place for cars to park and the place looks clean. Before entering the place you had to pay the booth for the entrance fee which is 100 pesos for adult and 50 pesos for children. (there will be a stub or coupon that will be handed to you, you can use it for a tour of the place later on).

After you have paid the entrance fee the guard at the gate will call for a vehicle to transport you to the Wave Pool if there is no vehicle on stand by. It will only take about a 2 minute walk from the entrance gate to the wave pool. The entrance to the Wave Pool and Raging Water is 250 pesos for adults and 150 for children (Yes, its a different payment aside from the entrance fee, and you have to pay the Wave Pool entrance fee whether you take a bath on the pool or not). You will also be charge an additional 200 pesos for corkage of all the foods you bring and a 30 pesos fee for every 1.5 liter of soft-drinks. Okey the spending doesn't stop their guys, you will still have to pay for your cottages, 500 pesos for the small cottage that can cater 12 persons and 800 pesos for large cottage for 24 persons. You are not allowed to bring breakable utensils (so better bring plastics utensils), also you are not allowed to bring a knife, you can borrow a knife at the restaurant inside.

The place is nice inside the Wave Pool they got speakers on the ground playing music, the cottages are clean. When I saw the pool whoaa (I had to admit I was amazed to see it though hahaha, never seen this huge of a pool before). There are 3 areas in the pool the one huge pool inside, the pool are for the kids where there are slides, and the outer pool where you can pay to use their power paddlers and rubber boats (not sure if this is the right term for that device). The waves would come every 40 minutes (better yet just wait for the siren to tell you the wave is coming), although don't expect such big waves guys, but my little daughter loves it soo much though. The children's pool have 5 slides in it, and two huge pail that splashes water all over you once it hits its limit.

You are free to use the life jackets, and there is also a water ball in the area and that will also cost you 50 pesos per 5 minutes. Although there is a restaurant inside which you can order foods, I don't know the price though because we brought our own foods, and it was well enough for us. There is also a free wifi, so you can bring your laptops or cellphone that are wifi ready. We were there at around 8:30 in the morning so right about noon time after lunch, we decided to go out side to explore some of the places D'Leonor Hotel Inland Resort has to offer. There was a zoo in which I will be talking about it in another post (click here for the link), entrance fee for zoo is 70 pesos for adults and 50 pesos for children.

Other places worth visiting aside from the Zoo and Wave Pool is the D'Leonor Zip Line, its a 460 meter zipline that has a entrance fee of 250 pesos for adults and 150 pesos for kids.

There is also the hanging bridge (which I did not cross, because I'm afraid of heights hahaha, and there's two hanging bridge, the other one is located farther and is much longer ) and a wall climb and if that's not enough to zap the energy out of you can try their 600 steps.

I mentioned a coupon or a stub earlier, you can use it for a tour of the whole place. Overall the place is nice, its a great place for family bonding, I did not mind the hefty price you have to pay for the place, the smile and enjoyment it brought to my little girl and my wife was priceless.
